Throughout the campaign, War Child will be hosting fundraising livestreams - you can visit the Tiltify campaign page to find out more information, to get involved and donate. This will also be taking place until 30 March and players and streamers across the globe are encouraged to get in on the fundraising action by launching their very own RE-PLAY livestream and engaging in some retro-inspired goodness. Streamers this year include GameMistress , rare_gangster , knightenator, and DivaAgency.
From 1 March – 31 May 2022, we are running our Unlock a Generation appeal in which your donations to streamers will be matched pound for pound by the UK Government, if you are resident in the UK. This means your gift right now could go twice as far. Your donation will help support the unfolding crisis in Ukraine, as well as places like Afghanistan, and match funding from the UK government will go towards Yemen, where millions of children are still in desperate need of protection from war and conflict.
All proceeds from RE-PLAY will go towards supporting War Child’s programmes in warzones across the globe, including scaling up our emergency response in Ukraine, helping Yemeni children access education, to reintegrating child soldiers in the Central African Republic, and promoting justice for young people in detention in Afghanistan. The specialist gaming team has innovative fundraising partnerships across the PC, console and mobile industries, as well as through streaming and support from the gaming community. RE-PLAY aims to increase the amount of engagement and funds generated via retro gaming.

About War Child
War Child is striving for a world where children’s lives are no longer torn apart by war.
We protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children caught up in conflict. We aim to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out, and stay to support them through their recovery - helping to keep them safe, give them an education, and equip them with skills for the future.
We understand children’s needs, respect their rights, and put them at the centre of the solution - from supporting Syrian children to access education, to reintegrating child soldiers in the Central African Republic and promoting justice for young people in detention in Afghanistan. Together with our partners we work in countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and Latin America.
We also work with children and young people to change systems and practices that affect them – campaigning on the root causes of conflict and demanding that children are at the centre of humanitarian response.
