The countdown has begun as the crowdfunding campaign for the highly anticipated point-and-click adventure game Legends of Castile enters its final 48 hours on Kickstarter.
Since the campaign launched, it has garnered significant attention and support from adventure game enthusiasts worldwide, reaching an impressive 83% of its €17,500 funding goal. With more than 324 backers from 33 different countries, the campaign has already achieved remarkable success. However, as Kickstarter operates on an all-or-nothing basis, the campaign will only be funded if the full amount is pledged. Therefore, the developers are calling on adventure game fans to help them cross the finish line by pledging their support in these crucial final hours.
"Legends of Castile" takes players on a journey through 19th-century Spain, where they will investigate folk legends to ultimately become a nun. This unique storyline, combined with the game's stunning visuals and immersive gameplay, has captured the imagination of backers.
New Stretch Goals
As the campaign nears its conclusion, the developers have also announced new stretch goals to further enhance the game. The German language has been promoted to the first stretch goal, a gesture of gratitude to the German community, which now ranks third in the number of backers, following Spain and the United States. These stretch goals are designed to improve the game in various ways, such as adding new translations and other enhancements, ensuring a richer experience for all players.

Long description
Legends of Castile is a comic fantasy point-and-click adventure set in the historic Castile region of Spain in the 19th century. The main character of this adventure is María, a young and fearless, though clumsy, Castilian girl. The story begins when, just after a long night with her friends, María has a vision of the Virgin Mary, after which she decides to become a nun. María asks to be ordained at a convent in Burgos, where her future mother superior assigns her a very important mission: To fulfill her dream, María must investigate the mythological creatures that have been appearing around the territory of Castile, and collect an item from each to prove their existence. Only once she has done this will the bishop take action against the creatures, to end their threat to the population of Castile... and Christianity.
