SYDNEY – July 12, 2022 – Krut: The Mythic Wings is a side-scrolling hack-and-slash platformer based on Southeast Asian lore, from publisher Blowfish Studios, developers GoodJob Multimedia and Pixel Perfex, and producer RSU Horizon. Today, wage a war that has been centuries in the making, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, as well as PC and Mac via Steam.
Washed ashore in a foreign land, the great Krut commander Veera awakes critically injured. As he teeters on the brink of death, an old hermit rushes to aid his fallen brethren and bestows the fabled Mythical Wings upon him. With the elder’s training and guidance, Veera must restore the power of the ancient artifact, and return to his homeland of Ayodhya to prevent the evil warlord Zurah from slaughtering the Krut people.
Expertly wield twin swords to defeat an endless barrage of fearsome enemies, from shielded hermit crabs to immense serpents. Difficult enemies and bosses with aggressive, challenging AI offer more than button-mashing action - to slash a path to victory, dodge and weave between enemy strikes, execute devastating combos and stun foes with powerful charged heavy attacks. Take to the skies to land monstrous aerial assaults and bring down gargantuan beasts.
Feast your eyes on vibrant and colorful visuals as you traverse stunning beaches, grand canyons, and lush forests across the mythical island of Himmaphan. Collect credits along the way to build your power with the Character Upgrade system - level up Veera’s Attack Power, Health, Critical Attack, and more.
