Loddlenaut splash-lands onto Switch on 19 September

Austin, Texas – 27 August 2024: Grab your bubble gun and get back to work, interstellar custodians! The adorable underwater adventure game Loddlenaut is coming to Nintendo Switch™ on 19 September, alongside a big update featuring some even bigger loddles.

The planet of GUP-14 has been ravaged by pollution from its former owners, and it's time to clean it all up for the next buyer. As a cosmic cleaner, it's up to you to zap goop, recycle waste, and restore this beautiful, watery planet back to its former glory.

But you won't be alone! GUP-14 is home to an adorable axolotl-like alien species knows as loddles, who can be fed, pet, and nurtured to evolve into bigger loddles and help with cleaning efforts. Keep track of your loddles with the Loddlepedia and find every variant you can!

Alongside its arrival on Switch, Loddlenaut will also receive a new wave of content with the Goddles update. This free update will allow players to grow plants and introduce new loddles to biomes to increase their pollution resistance, so players can swim freely without worrying about pollution returning to fully cleaned biomes. New upgrades, including a global pollution tracker and increased inventory space, will help make this task a snap. And rumour has it that some enormous, ancient loddles may be hiding somewhere on GUP-14...

Loddlenaut is available now via Steam, where it has earned an Overwhelmingly Positive rating from over 1,500 user reviews. The Goddles update will be available on PC, Mac, and Switch simultaneously on 19 September. The Switch version will also contain the previously released Loddlepedia update, which adds the aforementioned loddle tracker along with new loddle variants and gameplay improvements.

As part of their ongoing partnership, Secret Mode will donate 0.05GBP per sale of Loddlenaut to WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation. WDC is a UK registered charity no. 1014705. This pledge covers all net game sales over the first three years from the game's initial launch on 16 November 2023.
