LOS ANGELES – The leaves are changing color in Palia’s Autumn Awakening update, ushering in a whole new season with a fall bounty of content to explore! The patch reintroduces the fan-favorite Maji Market alongside the beautiful fall foliage in Kilima Village. Returning players will remember the grand opening of the Halloween-seasonal Spooky Moon Store; and the patch offers another opportunity for players to collect even more Potato Pods. The Autumn Awakening (Patch 0.184) update will go live today, Sept. 24, after the game comes back online at 11 a.m. PT.
With new content to explore in the bustling Maji Market, wicked-awesome fall- and Halloween-themed items and rewards, as well as seasonal outfits; the Autumn Awakening update is the perfect way to usher in the cozy fall season with your favorite haunt. The new patch builds upon the success of Palia’s Sunset Soiree update, where Palians waved goodbye to summer by decorating their Home Plots with new Building Blocks and Flower limit increases, the popular Lily Rattan Decor, and the adorable new Chapaa plushes. But players are ready for a new adventure, and the return of the fall season and the Maji Market night market offers just that. Some highlights of the update include:
The Return of Maji Market – The beloved night market is back at the Kilima Village Fairgrounds! Enjoy classic attractions alongside new minigames, market-exclusive miniquests, and collectibles. And (surprise!) Maji Market will now be a recurring event, available for one week with each new update.
Pop, Chase, and Claw for New Rewards – Experience returning Maji Market favorites, such as the night market classic Chapaa Chase alongside new attractions, including the Pop-A-Chapaa balloon-popping game, and Zeki’s Claw Machine. Players can explore the night market’s photo ops and secrets, earn Stamp Card accomplishments, and trade-in their hard-earned Maji Market Tickets for an exclusive Maji Market Nameplate, new plushes, and more.
Celebrate Fall in Kilima Village – Snap some photos with friends as the leaves change color in Kilima Village. The fall foliage spurs that snuggly dose of cozy, complete with piles of fallen leaves and trees in a stunning fall aesthetic. And don’t miss the reopening of the Spooky Moon Store, featuring wicked-awesome decor.
More Potato Pods Log-in Rewards – Add to your growing collection of adorable Potato Pods! Log in between Sept. 25 and Oct. 8, and again between Oct. 9 and Oct. 21, to receive two additional Potato Pods for free.
Autumn Awakening Twitch Drops – The players have spoken: Twitch Drops are awesome. So we’re bringing Twitch Drops back for an Autumn Awakening campaign. The campaign will run from 1 p.m. PT on Tuesday, Sept. 24 to 1 p.m. PT on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Players that tune-in to their favorite content creators can expect to earn Maji Market Tickets and additional Potato Pods (separate from the log-in rewards!).
The Mask – New fall-themed outfits and cosmetic items are available in the Premium Store, including the Phoenix Sworn and Lunar Devotee outfits, Ancient Champion Tool Skins, Jaak-O-Lantern Tool Skins, and the mischievous Jaak-O-Lantern glider. A brand-new addition, Masks, also debuts this update, perfect for Halloween or an autumn masquerade!
