Maximum Entertainment Heads to Gamescom to Showcase Highly Anticipated Lineup

Stockholm, Sweden (August 1, 2024) –Maximum Entertainment AB (Nasdaq: MAXENT B) today unveiled its lineup of diverse demos heading to Gamescom, which will take place in Cologne, Germany from August 21 through 25.

Visitors can catch all the action at the event’s Indie Arena Booth, where Maximum Entertainment will be on site showing Overthrown, Projekt Z, Wild Bastards, Squirrel with a Gun, and Diesel Legacy. Additionally, Spirit of the North 2, Overthrown, and Squirrel with a Gun will be playable at the Microsoft booth, and visitors can catch Selfloss at the UKIE booth.
 

Overthrown is a chaotic city builder for 1-6 players where you can lift and throw anything and everything to manage your kingdom and defend your citizens from bandits. Farm your land, gather resources, and harness the power of your soul-stealing crown!
 

Projekt Z is a first-person co-op survival shooter set on a secret island during World War II. Craft weapons, build structures, and unravel the secrets of a clandestine program run by the Nazis to turn zombies into weapons of war.
 

Squirrel with a Gun is a nutty sandbox puzzle-platformer where you play a misbehaving rodent with a bevy of firearms at your disposal. Fight tooth, claw, and gun to escape a secret underground facility and defeat the Agents.
 

Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age is a hand-drawn 2v2 fighting game set in a Dieselpunk environment featuring three lanes to freely move between, distinctly powerful characters, and rich lore. Up to four players will battle it out across a variety of stages, in teams or in a wild free-for-all.
 

Selfloss is an emotional exploration game set in a whale-worshipping, Slavic-inspired world. Embark on the journey of the healer, Kazimir, and his magical staff as he fights a mysterious Miasm in search of a ritual to cure his wounded soul.
 

Spirit of the North 2 is a breathtaking third-person adventure and the sequel to the acclaimed ‘Spirit of the North.’ Take on the role of an isolated fox with a raven companion on a quest to restore the lost guardians and return home.
 

Wild Bastards is a roguelike strategy shooter with heart-pounding FPS action, mod management, and a tactical campaign. Saddle up and lead the most notorious outlaws in the galaxy.
