Stockholm, Sweden (October 2, 2024) - Maximum Entertainment AB (Nasdaq: MAXENT B) today announced that 2v2 brawler Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age, the first game powered by the company’s Abare Engine, is scheduled to release on December 3, 2024.

We are very excited to bring Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age to fighting fans everywhere,” said Philippe Cohen, CEO of Maximum Entertainment. “This unique 2v2 brawler is a love letter to the fighting genre and a glimpse of the amazing titles to come from Abare, our proprietary engine.

Developed and published by Maximum Entertainment, and powered by its proprietary Abare Engine, this fresh take on the genre sees players engaging in 2v2 matches within a unique 3-lane system against a gorgeous, hand-drawn Dieselpunk backdrop. Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age will launch on PC, PlayStationÒ 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on December 3, 2024.

The Abare Engine is the fruit of years of research and development and will also power Maximum Entertainment’s flagship titles, including its upcoming fighting game based on Avatar: The Last Airbender, in partnership with Paramount Games Studios.

Thanks to Abare Engine’s RealMatch™ rollback netcode, matches are virtually lag-free, making each punch feel seamless in every online match. The game features also gorgeous 2D graphics blending a unique style of high definition 2D sprites and dynamic lighting. Find out more about Abare Engine’s features at abareengine.com.
