Kyiv, Ukraine – October 3, 2024. 1stone Games is thrilled to reveal the official release date for its ‘emotion-driven’ platformer Unmasked: An Inner Journey, set to launch on Steam and Epic Games Store on October 30, 2024.

In Unmasked: An Inner Journey, players guide the protagonist on a journey through buried memories, confronting his past through a series of hand-crafted levels that reflect his inner struggles and emotions.

Developed by a two-person Ukrainian studio, the game took shape during the ongoing war in Ukraine. While never directly addressing the invasion, the developers have drawn heavily on their personal experiences, infusing the narrative with themes of resilience and remembrance.

Earlier this month, 1stone Games released a new demo as part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest, offering players a haunting glimpse into the game’s stunning, surreal world ahead of its full launch.

Unmasked: An Inner Journey features 5 distinct levels, each brought to life with beautiful artwork, immersive soundscape, and captivating music. As players journey deeper into the protagonist’s subconscious, they’ll encounter puzzles, chase sequences, and formidable creatures, each symbolizing the most profound secrets of his mind.

The game presents a deeply emotional narrative told without dialogue. The narrative of Unmasked: An Inner Journey unfolds through a series of carefully crafted levels and vignettes that hint at events from the protagonist’s past.
