Netmarble debuted its brand-new title THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK by premiering its teaser trailer  at the SNK booth during TOKYO GAME SHOW 2024, which runs from September 26 to 29.
 
THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK is a character collectible AFK RPG based on SNK’s “The King of Fighters” IP and is currently being developed by Netmarble Neo, a developer with extensive experience in collaborating with SNK.
 
This new title features iconic characters from “The King of Fighters” series reimagined in pixel art graphics that gamers are familiar with from THE KING OF FIGHTERS R-2 on Neo Geo Pocket Color, which was developed based on THE KING OF FIGHTERS ‘98. In addition, THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK brings together key characters from “The King of Fighters” series to maximize the fun of collecting characters, and the game's unique combat system will set it apart from other King of Fighters series and enhance the excitement of strategic play and character development.
 
Netmarble has also debuted the official teaser site and YouTube channel of THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK on September 26, showcasing the game’s teaser trailer that premiered at Tokyo Game Show 2024. Players can stay up to date with the latest info for THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK on the official site.
