Dominion: Allies


SAN FRANCISCO, CA — March 9, 2022... Temple Gates Games, in a coordinated launch with Rio Grande Games, has launched Allies, the fourteenth expansion for the Dominion app.
 
Play now! The Dominion app is currently in Beta. Android and Steam players can join directly. TGG will announce when there is more availability for iOS players. At this time the beta is full on Apple devices.
 
Allies has thirty-one new Kingdom card piles. There are twenty-three Allies that will do Favors for players, and six split piles players can rotate.

They’ve given you skulls to drink mead out of, and spices to get rid of the skull aftertaste. And you’ve given them stuff in return: forks, mirrors, pants. It’s great for everyone. With the advent of Allies, all fourteen *phew* expansions are now available to purchase in game!  TGG thanks our beta testers (over 100,000 of them!) for all their help in banging on these to get them ship shape and we'll continue to polish them as we go.
 
Those wanting to add a bit more will find two promo packs containing five cards apiece as well as the Black Market in the in-game store. 
 
Purchased Dominion app expansions in the past? For folks who purchased the game way back in the day from Goko / Making Fun, we have good news! TGG has received a list of expansions players bought in the past. If a player logs in using the same email address they used with Making Fun / Goko to purchase Dominion expansions, they should have access to their previous purchases in the new app. To access those purchases:

 

Players should now see their previous purchases available when creating a game.

Dominion is also getting music from Laura Shigihara. Shigihara is best known as the brainzzz behind the catchy tunes of Plants vs. Zombies. Her songs and audio have been published in over thirty videogame titles from epic games like World of Warcraft to indie darlings like Super Meat Boy. She also made the highly acclaimed game Rakuen, so needless to say she is a person of many talents and we're beyond the moon that she's devoting a few of them to Dominion's music. Her songs will be coming in future updates! In the meantime, those who would like to hear her perform live can head on over to her Twitch stream.
