StoreRider :
Paris, France – December 6, 2023: Newly launched mobile game distributing specialist StoreRider offers game developers access to additional revenue streams. The company focuses on optimizing the distribution of both paid and free-to-play mobile games on various alternative mobile platforms, allowing game developers to tap into more revenue besides that generated via traditional app stores. While numerous alternative stores exist, such as carriers' subscription services, phone maker app stores, and custom Android platforms on planes, cars, and arcade machines, many remain relatively unknown. Spearheaded by Xavier Liard, former co-founder of DotEmu and Playdigious, StoreRider’s activity is built on years of experience in game development, publishing and distribution.
Xavier Liard, CEO of StoreRider, comments: "Allocating technical resources to reach alternative stores can pose a challenge. Our strategy at StoreRider involves being able to work with source code, enabling autonomy to provide added revenue to game owners that otherwise would not have been achieved due to lack of resources or other focus. We prioritize security and tailor our involvement to the game owner's preferences."
StoreRider's core mission is to offer a full 360 service for distributing Android games in carefully selected channels, managing all the various aspects of alternative distribution including custom build development, marketing assets, upload, business development, quality assurance, technical support, and payments. Game developers often face challenges in identifying the right alternative stores and optimizing their presence, involving tasks like creating offline versions or integrating payment solutions. These processes can be time-consuming and generally unprofitable, something which StoreRider can mitigate.
As of December 6th, StoreRider is successfully operating over 10 games, including popular titles such as There is No Game from Draw Me A Pixel, and Out There: Omega from Mi Clos Studio.
In addition to leading StoreRider, founder Xavier Liard maintains a senior advisory role within Playdigious and its parent company, Fragbite Group.
