New Tactical Team Shooter DFUSE Announced for PC

COLOGNE — AUGUST 21, 2024 — Game developer AEY Studios has today revealed DFUSE, an intense and strategic 5v5 tactical team shooter for PC. Unveiled at the Future Games Show in Gamescom, DFUSE challenges players to outmaneuver and outgun their opponents in a series of high-stakes matches. The alpha of DFUSE will be coming in October of this year.

DFUSE features multiple gameplay modes that demand quick thinking and precise execution:

One of DFUSE’s most unique features is its Nemesis System. It is a player-driven mechanic that adds an extra layer of competition, allowing them to track down rivals or become a target. It creates an intense, real-time targeting mechanic where each player is hungry to take down their foe. DFUSE also offers new maps with every game, giving players an ever-expanding array of environments, each presenting new tactical challenges and opportunities for strategic play.

DFUSE introduces another impressive mechanic called Team Synergy, where players gather XP collectively that they can use to unlock more weapons in the game, meaning they need to work together and everyone can deliver their fair share. With a diverse collection of items to choose from, teams will want to work their best together to earn the most XP possible.

Players can tailor their loadout each round with a variety of weapons, tools, and utilities to suit their playstyle and counter enemies. Within the game there is a unique faction system, where players can battle alongside friends and other members, and unlock exclusive rewards, contracts, and challenges.
