SEATTLE, February 1st – Publisher tinyBuild and developers NotGames are breaking out the bubbly to celebrate not only the critically acclaimed launch of Not For Broadcast on SteamGOG and the Epic Games Store, but the offbeat live news editing game smashing records.

The recently released final version of Not For Broadcast has a gigantic 42 hours, 57 minutes and 52 seconds of live-action footage, spread across eleven episodes of branching and responsive interactive TV. Officially setting the record for Most Full Motion Video footage in a videogame, confirmed by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS®.
There's more to Not For Broadcast than big numbers. There's a world of scathing satire and surreal screwball comedy in all that footage, and it's up to the player to edit it live. It's an experience unlike any other in videogames.

Not For Broadcast sets players loose at the broadcasting desk for the National Nightly News. Pick the camera angles, bleep the swearing, and make earthshaking editorial decisions. Either that, or just run the ads from the sponsors happiest to slip you a little extra cash.
Not For Broadcast makes the terrifying world of live TV fun and accessible through an easy-to-learn interface. Switch video feeds with a click, clear up static, pick which sponsor's tapes to run and always keep an eye on the ratings—a little flashy editing goes a long way!

Critically praised and selling well over 300,000 copies, Not For Broadcast used its time in Early Access to grow into an FMV juggernaut. Players will have to make some tough calls if they want to see this branching, responsive story through to its many possible endings.
Not For Broadcast is available now on SteamGOG and the Epic Games Store. Review code is available now for both media and influencers. Request yours here, or email the Media Contact below today.

  About NotGames
NotGames is a British game studio that opened its doors in 2013 to attempt to save the charity that brought us all together. Coming from a bizarre background of Film, TV, Theatre and Comedy, NotGames aren't your usual game developers. If you're asking, we'd like to call ourselves 'multi-talented all-rounders', while our former employers would probably say we're 'unfocussed and easily distracted'.

Exhausted after the runaway success of the cult-classic NotTheNameWeWanted and the subsequent disappointment of NotCoD (we don't like to talk about it), we took some time out to contemplate our navels in a dark room.

In 2017, we decided to get the band back together, with NotGames 2.0 combining satire, social commentary and original gameplay into the dystopian wonderland of Not For Broadcast.   Game Info
