November 28th 2024, London, United Kingdom - Indie studio Exabyte Games announced today that their upcoming zombie survival base-builder, Final Outpost: Definitive Edition, is running an open beta on Steam this weekend, 30th November to 1st December.

The beta will allow the developers to collect feedback and polish the demo before its public release on 13th December this year.
Players wanting to test the game should be subscribed to the mailing list linked above to receive their free Steam key. They can then add the game to their Steam library and play unrestricted over the weekend with access expiring afterwards. Keys will be sent to everyone subscribed to the Final Outpost newsletter as of 12:00PM GMT on 29th November.
Since its page went live on Steam on 4th August, Final Outpost: Definitive Edition has amassed over 6,000 wishlists. The demo has recently been covered by a range of streamers, most notably by Orbital Potato, whose video has been viewed over 90,000 times, emerging as one of his channel’s most popular videos covering a single game.
