September 6, 2024 – Outfit7 has announced its return to Green Game Jam in 2024. Following the success of My Talking Angela 2’s double win at last year’s Green Game Jam, Outfit7 is once again uniting with game studios worldwide to inspire a million players to take real-world environmental action through the power of play. Get ready to REplay, REgrow, REuse with exciting new eco-friendly features in Talking Tom Gold Run and My Talking Tom Friends, available from today until September 19.
 

REstore the Environment by REcycling Trash! 

In Talking Tom Gold Run, players embark on an eco-adventure, collecting Trash Bag Tokens and tossing discarded plastic into recycling bins during each run. As they recycle plastic and collect Trash Bag Tokens across multiple runs, they'll see the on-screen planet gradually transform from polluted to beautiful and clean. A special recycling machine will convert their trash into in-game rewards like diamonds, gold bars, dynamite, and the exclusive Eco Angela outfit.

REgrow Your Food! 

In My Talking Tom Friends, players can earn tokens and skill stars for cleaning up garbage in and around the in-game house. For the duration of Green Game Jam, players will receive organic fertilizer and garden seeds as bonus rewards for cleaning up. They can then use these resources to grow organic veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, and onions in the gardening mini-game, and then feed these to Talking Tom and his friends. Every time the characters eat, they produce more garbage, and they have to clean it up. And so the cycle continues…

From Gameplay to Real-World Action 

Outfit7’s participation in Green Game Jam is not only about in-game integration. Since this year’s Green Game Jam goal is to inspire one million people to take real-world environmental action through the power of play, Outfit7 will also be hosting special activations on Talking Tom & Friends social media. 

Players are encouraged to inspire others by picking up trash or growing their own food in real life and sharing their efforts using the campaign hashtag #RERERE.
