Alpharetta, USA - November 26th, 2024 - Titan Forge Games has released the seventh patch for SMITE 2’s Closed Alpha, aimed at expanding the roster of playable Gods and continuing to improve the game systems. Poseidon, Thor, and Cupid join the lineup of Gods that players can select, having all been long standing pillars of the original SMITE.
Poseidon, the Greek God of the Oceans, commands the tides to control the battlefield. His water-based abilities can slow, damage, and knock back enemies. With his ultimate ability Poseidon summons a monstrous kraken, bursting down multiple targets at once. 
Thor is the God of Thunder in Norse mythology. In SMITE 2, he is a fearless warrior known for swift, high-impact attacks with his legendary hammer, Mjolnir. Thor’s ultimate lets him leap into the sky and slam down with force, taking enemies by surprise and turning battles around.
The Roman God of Love, Cupid is a mischievous God with a quiver of heart-tipped arrows. His high-speed attacks and healing skills make him a great pick for players who prefer a supportive, yet offensive playstyle.
For guaranteed access to the closed testing, the Founder’s Edition can be purchased on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Epic Games Store. Players can also wishlist SMITE 2 on Steam and register to participate in alpha testing on the official website.
