Predecessor Adds a New Hero and Launches a Free Closed Beta Test on PlayStation Consoles Today

(London, UK) - December 5th, 2023 – Omeda Studios, a community-driven studio, creator of the MOBA-Hero Shooter PREDECESSOR, a continuation of Paragon (originally developed by Epic Games), announced today that the official launch of the Predecessor Closed Beta Test on PlayStation will be accompanied by a fiery new playable Hero: the duo of Iggy & Scorch.

 

Starting today, all players that have registered on the official Closed Beta page will receive a code to their email addresses and will be able to download the game and access the PlayStation Closed Beta right away. Predecessor supports cross platform gameplay, so PlayStation 4 & 5 gamers will be able to play with each other, as well as with Predecessor’s robust PC community. Although the Beta requires registration, it is open to and completely free for anyone who completes the simple form on the official Closed Beta page, and codes will be distributed as quickly as possible to new registrations throughout the beta test.

More than 50,000 players have already registered for the Closed Beta Test since the process was opened, and Omeda Studios is extremely excited to learn and improve from the data gathered during this wide-scale closed beta test.
 

Double Trouble: Iggy & Scorch join the Beta!

To celebrate the launch of this PlayStation Closed Beta, Omeda Studios is thrilled to announce the arrival of Iggy & Scorch, a new Hero that completes the roster of more that 30+ Heroes. This new Hero is in fact a partnership:  two fiery fiends that have come here to burn down their rivals (and anything else they can set on fire!) with Molotov cocktails, fire breath, and a cornucopia of explosives. Iggy & Scorch will be available starting on the 5th of December, 2023 for players on all platforms to bring the heat on the battlefield!
