FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boulder, Colo. (July 5, 2022) – Serenity Forge (Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!) today announced that they have entered into a partnership with indie games label Fellow Traveller (Genesis Noir, Suzerain) to publish and distribute several of its innovative, narrative-driven titles to retail worldwide. The new distribution partnership furthers Serenity Forge’s already successful efforts to bring independent titles to mass market via physical retail.

The announcement follows Serenity Forge’s entry into the physical games publishing realm, following up on recent successes in retail with titles such as Death’s Gambit: Afterlife, Cyanide & Happiness - Freakpocalypse (Episode 1), and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! Serenity Forge’s ability to provide fans with high-quality physical merchandise as part of the retail offerings has been a winning strategy to date, and the company plans to offer the same level of top-notch physical items across Fellow Traveller’s retail titles.

Fellow Traveller is a lauded indie games label known for its unique, highly curated lineup of games with a focus on story-rich content first and foremost; ranging from the critically-lauded narrative RPG Citizen Sleeper to the detective adventure Paradise Killer that launched to rave international critic reviews.

“With each release, Fellow Traveller pushes the video games medium forward, providing high-quality gameplay experiences to players that they’d never receive anywhere else,” said Zhenghua Yang, founder and CEO of Serenity Forge. “Their keen eye for great games and the reputation for quality that the label has built makes their reach into retail a natural extension of their success and Serenity Forge is excited to bring their games to physical formats around the world.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to work with Serenity Forge to bring our games to the physical retail market,” said Chris Wright, the founder and Managing Director of Fellow Traveller. “The creativity and attention to detail they‘ve put in to these physical editions have been a joy to behold and we can’t wait to share them with the world.”

Serenity Forge is the award-winning publisher behind retail hits Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, Death’s Gambit: Afterlife and Where the Water Tastes Like Wine and has achieved success in bringing games of all sizes to physical retail. Carving out its own niche market by bringing non-AAA games to stores around the world, Serenity Forge continues to forge its path as a full-service publisher and distributor of ground-breaking and experimental games that push the boundaries of what a video game can be.
