ETA: 12 September | Players: 1-8

New Cali, USA (brought to you by the Bachman Media Network) – August 29 2066: Listen up, clone jockeys! We’re a matter of weeks away from the launch of DEATHSPRINT 66 (September 12, 2024) and to make sure you’re prepared, we’re bringing you all the details of the game’s single-player features, known as Episodes.

Episodes are a set of PvE-focused modes that provide players with the opportunity to win rewards by taking part in 3-5 stage tournaments, both solo and against AI opponents, with added mechanical twists and challenges thrown in for good measure.

Examples of challenges include Killing Time, where players start the race with just 15 seconds on the clock and have to top up their timer by racing through gates to avoid painful (and messy) head explosions, or Five Lives, where the number of clones is strictly limited and anything less than a first-place finish means failure. For the truly hardcore among you, there’s also Bloodbath Circuits and Bloodbath Sprints, where map difficulty is increased with extra hazards, all Tributes are offensive in nature, and players must finish first to progress.

All in all, there are nine Episodes to take part in, designed to challenge the very best racers and push their skills to new levels. Read more about Episodes on the Secret Mode blog and check out footage in new b-roll in the DEATHSPRINT 66 press kit.

Review keys for DEATHSPRINT 66 will be available soon. Please register your interest here or email the Secret Mode PR team to request access.
