A rundown of the Anniversary Update's new characters.

The Grand Marshal of Illumina herself, Reinhardt, has arrived to the thrilling mobile strategy RPG, Alchemy Stars, alongside two more Aurorians, and today, publisher Level Infinite and developer TourDog Studio are excited to share details about them. These characters joined the game as part of its 1st Anniversary Update on June 2, alongside a new gameplay mode, new story episodes, and fabulous in-game rewards.
Reinhardt
Class: Sniper
Attributes: Lighting, Fire
Rarity: 6-Star
Recruited in: Enlightened Illumination
Reinhardt is driven by her desire to make Illumina stronger against the threat of the Eclipsites, and she believes that, as leader, it is her duty to do so by fighting on the frontlines. She displays a calm confidence that inspires all who follow her, and makes them believe in her leadership ability completely. Even when she’s unsure, she never shows it.
Reinhardt wields the mighty Star-Piercing Spear, a burning red lance said to emit five crosses of light in the face of enemies. She does not stick to Illumina's traditional thinking and military techniques, but innovates and makes ingenious moves in actual combat. This makes her an invaluable ally in the fight against the Eclipsites.
Vice: Keen Sight
Class: Sniper
Attributes: Water
Rarity: 6-Star
Recruited in: Timeless Infinity
Vice, Illumina’s Expedition Captain, has a gentle personality and is responsible for rescuing the last Caelestite descendant that was trapped underground. In her new Keen Sight form, she gained the ability to lock-on to her opponents and deal greater amounts of damage. Her Piercing Deluge chain attack deals massive damage to opponents that dare come within her attack range, and she can stack Timeless Mark on foes to up the damage even more.
Barton: Deft Blades
Class: Detonator
Attributes: Forest
Rarity: 6-Star
Recruited in: Lone Vigilante
As the Illumina Federation’s Legion Commander, Barton has a thirst for battle. After using the Chord Link device, his appearance and abilities have changed, and his Lone Vigilante personality shines through even more. Barton can use his new abilities to enter Lone state, and increase his Chain Combo range and power, and his Solitary Courage allows him to attack opponents on diagonal tiles.
Finally, alongside the new Aurorians, new outfits for Louise and Alice, and furniture for Cloud Gardens have been made available.

Alchemy Stars seamlessly merges magic and technology in both its world and mechanics. The game’s innovative combat blends RPG, “Gatcha”, and strategy elements, with each stage presenting a fresh challenge. Players can collect tons of unique characters, create their ideal party, and battle using the game’s unique tile-connecting gameplay. Matching the character’s attribute with the correct colored tiles allows players to unleash special attacks. Alchemy Stars further enhances its strategic gameplay by giving players the ability to change leaders multiple times, allowing for a more intriguing tactical experience.
In the world of Alchemy Stars, light and darkness collide. Aurorians and Caelestites have lived peacefully on the land of Astra for hundreds of years until they are forced to face a mysterious threat: dark creatures known as Eclipsites, sent to exterminate the Caelestites. While exploring the world of Astra, players will discover the six distinct factions in the game and will traverse a beautifully designed 2D world. Exotic locations include a bustling metropolis nestled beneath the world’s surface, a remote dwelling high atop Astra’s mountains, and other fascinating territories.
Alchemy Stars is available as a free download for Android and iOS devices via the Google Play Store and Apple Store. The First Anniversary Update will be available for free on June 2, 2022.
