TLDR: Riot Games has reached a new multiyear global partnership agreement with Opera GX, making the gaming-first brand the Preferred Browser Partner of LoL Esports Global Events.  

 

What you need to know: 

  • The new global partnership between Riot Games and Opera GX will come to life across a number of fan-facing touchpoints during the 2024 League of Legends World Championship, beginning September 25: 

    • Opera GX will be Presenting Partner of “Worlds Unlocked,” a curated bundle of limited edition physical and in-game items celebrating Worlds 2024. Physical products within the Worlds Unlocked Collector’s Edition are entirely exclusive and unavailable for purchase outside of the set.

    • For the first time ever, the Co-Streamer Hub powered by OperaGX will serve as an interactive directory of more than 75 co-streamer channels. This will allow fans to see all the co-streaming options in one centralized location and allow them to filter for creators in their language of choice.

    • The Opera GX browser will offer a fan friendly, comprehensive viewing experience, including easy navigation through all Worlds content and matches, enhanced stats, custom mods, and digital drops.
