Indies’ Lies is a refreshing mixture of a deck building, roguelike RPG that takes place in a Steampunk fantasy world, where the industrial revolution comes at a high price. In the Rogue-Like mode, players are challenged with 20 difficulty levels for each of 3 roguelike maps. Fresh Deckbuilding Mechanics for Unrestricted Builds
The starting deck of a character includes one card choice upon which you base your build on, yet, thanks to the massive pool of over 600 cards, each character has potential for many builds.

Indies’ Lies introduces new mechanics to create a smoother deckbuilding process. Besides just adding cards, you are free to replace cards in your deck with new cards found during the run, which makes it easier to get rid of cards you don’t want to build your hand on.

The Rune system with over 30 Runes also brings a new dimension for deck crafting. By attaching Runes to advanced cards, you add special effects, offering more than just a simple numerical buff to your cards.

Build Your Team and play with 12 Distinct Characters
Assemble a team with 1 Hero and up to 2 partners. Each partner has a unique deck and skillset. By mixing partner cards with the hero deck, you might just find the icing on the cake for your build. At the same time, you’re free to skip partner choice and gain a hidden talent instead.

A Roguelike with Deep Gameplay and High Replayability
As a roguelike, Indies’ Lies offers a wide variety of heroes, cards and items to keep each run interesting. The paths, events and talent tree are procedurally generated each time you start a new run, pushing you to choose your road wisely, try new card combinations, tactics and team synergies to survive.

Level bosses and elite enemies are the cherry on top of the cake here. Bosses possess exclusive perks and behaviors — will he transform into his real form after taking damage? Who will the priest summon as his secret lover? Or perhaps the boss will spam curses and ruin your hand this turn?

Explore Mekaa Dark Tales
Indies’ Lies takes you to Mekaa, a dark fantasy world inspired by medieval and steampunk aesthetics. Under the blessings of the old gods, this world had long been driven by the power of wizardry. However, the advent of the new God “Indies” brought about a new technology which boosted industrial development but ended up destroying the people.

In the Story mode, you take on the role of each hero during their personal quest packed with events and encounters. Piece by piece, step by step, until you uncover the truth behind the new God’s conspiracies.

Don’t miss Indies’ Lies released on Steam in Early Access today (March 30th, 2022) at 11PM PT! The developers already have a roadmap for more content to come later this year, from additional characters & fresh maps to a completely New Mode. Also, as a celebration of launch week, the game will be 10% off and come at a cost of $13.49.
