The sixth season of the Nordic Game Discovery Contest continued with a digital qualifier during the Global Games Pitch event week.
Three very interesting games were selected as contestants for the qualifier: Project Nightmare, a tactical, turn-based RPG from UK studio Dream Harvest, Rough Justice: ’84 from German studio Gamma Minus and Good Boy Society, a dog metaverse simulator from British EfrenStudios.
All the teams did a great job pitching their games to the NGDC judges, but after the four rounds of intense competition, it was Gamma Minus who came out on top with Rough Justice: ’84; a unique blend of management, card game, and puzzle, set in a neon-lit ’80s-inspired world.
