SacriFire is coming to PAX West 2024

WARSAW, POLAND – Independent game development studio Pixelated Milk is excited to share that its upcoming RPG, SacriFire, will be showcased at this year’s PAX West in Seattle as part of the PAX Rising Showcase — an exclusive event highlighting the most promising new indie games.


SacriFire, a modern JRPG-inspired game, will be playable at the PAX Rising Showcase, Booth 825, where attendees can experience the hands-on demo from Thursday, August 30th, through Monday, September 2nd during expo hours. Visitors will also have the chance to meet and chat with members of the Pixelated Milk team about the game.


SacriFire is an upcoming RPG that blends classic 90s JRPG inspirations with modern storytelling and a unique combat system. You play as Ezekiel Ridan, a devout young priest on a mission that will test his faith and determination.


Ezekiel Ridan, a novice training to become a bishop of the Church of Sheol, finds his world shattered during a religious ceremony when a mysterious heretic thief known as "Prometheus" steals the Malkora—an ancient artifact believed to restore all evil in the world. As war looms between gods and demons, Ezekiel must recover the Malkora to save Sheol and the city of Antioch from impending doom.


SacriFire features a unique combat system that seamlessly merges real-time and turn-based styles to provide a fluid experience that is both challenging and satisfying. The game also boasts elaborate pixel art that pays homage to classic RPGs while delivering a fresh, modern look. The game’s soundtrack is composed by genre legend Motoi Sakuraba, known for his work on some of the most beloved JRPGs of all time.
