Lesquin, 3 July 2024 NACON and creā-ture Studios are pleased to announce that Session: Skate Sim has now built up a player community of over 2 million of players! Launched in September 2022, this skateboarding simulation has constantly won over increasing numbers of boarders and non-boarders alike, to virtually take up this form of skating. The game pays tribute to the golden age of skateboarding from the 90s.

To mark the occasion, the development team is unveiling the forthcoming additional content celebrating a city on which all eyes will be focused this summer: Paris, the capital of fashion and luxury, but also of skate spots! Players will be able to discover or rediscover the iconic locations of the City of Light, including the Trocadéro esplanade and staircases, the ramps and pyramids of Place de la République, as well as the banks of the Seine. This additional content will be released on 18 July 2024.

Session: Skate Sim invites players to dive into the genuine 1990s skateboarding way of life, when each stretch of pavement and each stairway was a great location for your favorite stunt. The game's ultra-realistic physics bring the sensations of skateboarding to life, and the studio has even integrated ground-breaking gameplay, a first in a skateboarding game: the "True Stance Stick", where each foot is independently managed using the two sticks. With a learning curve that is just as demanding as in real life, players have to practice how to control their board and pull off all the different stunts available in the game, from the simplest to the most complicated. The integrated editing tool lets each player immortalize their greatest achievements on video.

Session: Skate Sim is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and Nintendo SwitchTM.

The additional Paris content will be available to download from 18 July 2024.

You can find all the game’s additional content released before 31 December 2023 on the Year One Pack, which comprises 4 additional maps, the skateboarder Chris Cole, plus exclusive outfits and boards.

About creā-ture Studios Inc.

Here at creā-ture Studios, located in the surroundings of Montreal, Canada, we try to do things differently -- not because we have to, but simply because making games doesn't seem to be what it used to. Formed by guys who got sucked into the AAA industry for probably too long, we strive at getting back to what video games are to us. More than a product, a creā-tion, the achievement of an art form envisioned into something fun and interactive! Our goal is to bring high-quality, detail-oriented, entertaining, creative and original games to niche markets and to serve them the best we can with an inspiring mindset, creating games that will meet the needs, quality standards and requirements of the people who play them. At the end of the day, it needs to be legit and fun. For more information, visit www.crea-turestudios.com.
