SMITE 2 adds two new Gods to the Closed Alpha roster

Alpharetta, USA  - October 3, 2024 - Today Titan Forge Games have expanded SMITE 2’s playable God pool by adding Baron Samedi, and Yemoja to the Closed Alpha.

Baron Samedi is the first God from the Voodoo Pantheon to join SMITE 2. The God of Life and Death is heavily focused on crowd control, healing, and damage over time. He uses his coffin to pull the souls of his enemies in a vortex as his ultimate ability.
 
Yemoja, Goddess of Rivers, joins SMITE 2 as the first Yoruba Pantheon God. Utilising a unique resource, Omi, rather than Mana to cast spells, Yemoja’s abilities revolve around water and waves to help her allies and hinder opponents.

Additional updates to the Closed Alpha aim to make SMITE 2 more beginner-friendly as the game develops. The current patch will introduce the first short tutorial videos and guides for the Arena and Conquest game modes, with more tutorials coming in future updates.
 
For guaranteed access to the closed testing, the Founder’s Edition can be purchased on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Epic Games Store. Players can also wishlist SMITE 2 on Steam and register to participate in alpha testing on the official website.
