SMITE 2’S Second Alpha Weekend Starts Today

Alpharetta, USA - May 30, 2024 - Titan Forge Games’ SMITE 2 enters its second Alpha Weekend starting today. As announced last week, the new alpha test will include gameplay adjustments and bug fixes, as well as UI improvements and new visual effects.

Two new Gods are joining the roster: Hades and Sol, bringing the number of playable Gods to 16. Five new cross-gen skins, including the ‘Steel Sentry’ Tier 4 skin for Athena, will be added to SMITE 2.

For newer players, Titan Forge has released a series of videos covering some of the basics of SMITE 2. Covering topics such as ‘How to Play Conquest’, ‘God Role Basics’, and tips on which items to build, these guides should help players to get started on the right track for the second Alpha Weekend.

Seasoned SMITE players can participate in some of the first competitive games of the sequel, as the first open bracket community tournament will take place this Saturday, June 1st. The matches also will be broadcasted on the official Twitch channel throughout the second Alpha Weekend.
 
For guaranteed access to the closed testing, Founder’s Edition bundles can be purchased on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Epic Games Store. Players can also request to join the playtest via the SMITE 2 Steam page or register their interest for playing on other platforms on the official website.
