Hooded Horse :

May 24, 2024 - The glorious publishing house of Hooded Horse is excited to announce that its complex city-building and economic sim Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic will launch into 1.0 on June 20, 2024, via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

3Division’s Soviet city-building sensation, which has had a successful five-year journey in Steam Early Access, challenges players to build a prosperous Soviet republic from a fledgling country, rising to become a rich industrial superpower. Multiple complex simulations work together to bring your nation to life, from intricate production chains, minute management of citizens, complex traffic, logistics, and economic simulations, including a fully integrated global economy that will respond to your choices. Rule your nation with total authority and remember – loyalty to the party trumps all!

Highlights of the 1.0 update include:

  • New buildings to enrich the lives of citizens through entertainment and fitness, including the amphitheater, and a large stadium.

  • Additional playgrounds for the younger generation to stay healthy.

  • Brand new Western vehicles to expand the nation’s transit network.

  • Revamped education system to maximize the potential reach of teachers.

  • Graphical improvements to the electronics components factory, woodcutting post, sawmill, panels factory, and many more key buildings.

  • Improved factory connection nodes to facilitate a better flow of resources across complex production chains.

  • Plenty of other quality-of-life fixes and HUD tweaks.

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic’s early access run has seen everything from new industries and customizable airports, to detailed waste management systems, new visual models, improved seasons, better logistics, tourism mechanics, increasingly complex traffic management simulations, and countless other improvements since its original launch in 2019.

The game is currently localized from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Official translations for the following languages will be added when the game launches into 1.0: Turkish, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak, and Traditional Chinese.

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is available on PC via Steam Early Access for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥4,980. When it launches into 1.0 it will also be available via GOG and the Epic Games Store. The game has a 92% "Very Positive" review rating with over 14,500 reviews. A press kit is available.
