Stampede: Racing Royale drifts into Xbox Game Preview

Leamington Spa, UK – 11 July 2024: Rev your engine and dust off your favourite novelty racing helmet! Stampede: Racing Royale, the 60-player battle royale kart racer from the racing experts at developer Sumo Leamington, and publisher Secret Mode, is available free on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PC via Xbox Game Preview.

The Xbox Game Preview launch will serve as ‘Season 0’ for Stampede, providing Xbox players with over 450 customisation items for their karts and racers, 11 surprise-filled tracks and Special Events that will shake up the gameplay in new and exciting ways for even more variety.

In addition, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now access an exclusive Starter Pack free thanks to Game Pass Perks, with an exclusive kart and avatar to customise their racers and a stack of Coins to unlock extra in-game goodies right from the off.

Throughout the Game Preview period, players are encouraged to follow the game's social media accounts (Discord | X | TikTok | Instagram | YouTube) and share their thoughts and feedback on what they wish to see as the game boost starts towards the full launch of Season 1.

Welcome to Stampede: Racing Royale – the wildest racing event in existence. Step on the gas in thrilling kart racing and battle events, with 60 participants all competing simultaneously. Harness your skills and a huge range of power-ups to steer your way to the front of the herd in classic circuit racing, or fight the crowd head-on to score the most points in arena-based battles.  

RACING ROYALE  

Stampede: Racing Royale pits 60 players against one another across three-round eliminator events, culminating in a high-stakes finale to crown the winner. Rounds include Stampede Races, which offer classic karting action on outrageously inventive circuits against up to 59 other opponents, and Stampede Battles, where competitors are locked in power-up laden arenas to fight their way to victory.    

COLLECT & CUSTOMISE  

Keep racing to unlock new vehicles and endless customisation options. Find your favourite kart and make it your own with custom paints. Dress your character in the finest threads to make sure you and your wheels really stand apart from the herd.
