Wx3 Labs :

Starcom: Unknown Space, a single-player open-world space ARPG and follow-up to the Indie hit Starcom: Nexus, entered Early Access in December of 2022. Since then, more than 20,000 players have designed their own starships and obsessively explored its mysterious universe.

With over 92% positive player reviews on Steam, the game is about to graduate to its 1.0 release, coinciding with the start of Steam’s Space Exploration Fest on September 2, 2024.

Players love:

  • Large, fully open-world, bespoke universe

  • Innovative ship-building system

  • Large tech tree with myriad weapons and special abilities to unlock

  • Fast-paced combat where enemies can be shredded like pinatas for loot

  • Beautifully rendered space with over 200 custom “anomalies” to investigate

  • Intriguing, deep storyline with alliances, treachery, and a galaxy-spanning mystery to unravel

Most of all, players love the sense of exploration and discovery: the feeling that the next star system will reveal something terrifying, weird or wonderful. Sometimes all three.
