If that wasn’t enough, anyone has the chance to join the fun. So, if cosplay is your jam, now is the time to dig out your fancy blue eyeshadow to channel your inner Zavala or channel your favorite #D2 character. Show your creativity by sharing your photos with the hashtag #ShredsOfLight for the chance to be featured throughout the campaign.
The Bungie Foundation's past events, such as the Bungie Day Giving Festival and Game2Give, are testaments to how technology can bring us together and connect us to those we could not otherwise reach. Organizers invite anyone interested in creating positive and inclusive change to participate.
“I truly believe we have the greatest community in the industry,” said Christine Edwards, Sr. Foundation Manager of the Bungie Foundation. “Time and time again they have stood up to support each other and address the needs of the world around them with enthusiasm and compassion – there is a culture of giving that is unmatched. I believe that through our three charitable pillars, we are able to connect to the passions individually held by our community because we support something that each person cares about on a personal level. Our mission is to build and empower our community to improve the health and wellbeing of children, uplift the rights of all individuals and communities, and provide aid in times of crisis. We wouldn’t be able to do this work without the many thousands of people who support us.”
When the Bungie community joins together in solidarity, we can continue making our world better, brighter, and more hopeful!
