STRONG SHOWING FOR INDIE ANGELS CLIENTS AT PAX WEST FOLLOWING GAMESCOM WORLD PREMIERES

PAX WEST: SEATTLE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2024 – Indie Angels, the Montreal-based marketing and PR services agency catering to independent game studios, is happy to share that three of its clients will be highlighted on the expo floor and at The MIX indie showcase during this week’s PAX West, August 30th through September 2nd, in downtown Seattle.


Fresh from its world premiere during Gamescom in the Future Games Showcase, Borealys Games will be demoing Echoes of Mystralia, the studio’s new roguelite Action-RPG, which features the award-winning custom spellcrafting system from the studio’s previous game, Mages of Mystralia, completely revamped for the game’s fast-paced combat while enabling infinite possibilities. The Borealys Games PAX booth is #133 in Arch Hall.


Also, following a successful world premiere is WoodRunner Games with its inaugural game, Croak, a hand-drawn “fractured fairytale” precision platformer that has already hopping into the hearts of many following last week’s Gamescom reveal with Future and IGN showcases. The WoodRunner Games PAX booth is #1417 in Arch Hall.


Both Croak and Echoes of Mystralia will be playable at The MIX Seattle Indie Showcase on Friday, August 30 at Block 41 from 7-11 PM. Joining will be fellow Canadian indie studio Finish Line Games with Robots at Midnight. This 80s futuristic souls-like Action-RPG just got a playable demo on Steam. Indie Angels’ friends ESDigital Games will also have its stylish 2D metroidvania AWAKEN - Astral Blade, on hand at The MIX. Press, industry and other attendees can sign up for tickets here.
