The Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques :

Winners to be announced live March 7th 2024

Paris, February 5, 2024 - The Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques is glad to reveal the Pégases Awards nominated games! Spread across 20 categories, these video games from France and abroad illustrate the very high quality of last year’s production. Winners will be announced March 7th 2024 during the ceremony starting at 8pm CET.

This year, the ceremony will see the introduction of a brand new and 20th Pégase, the International Honorary Award! This trophy will be given to an individual whose work pushes the boundaries and make a real difference for the industry.

More than 2,000 industry professionals and members of The Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques took part of the first round of voting to determine the short list. The second round will take place in February to decide on the winners. Results will be announced March 7th during the ceremony.

The Pégases Award Ceremony 2024 is an event by The Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques, co-produced by the French Video Game Trade Association and Webedia, supported by FI Group, Neuflize OBC, Unreal Engine Micromania-Zing and the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée (CNC).

 
About The Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques
The Academy is made of French video game industry professionals split by discipline to encourage the interaction of fellow colleagues discussing the hot topics of their domain while promoting their craft. The Academy’s goal is to offer a better understanding of each discipline and educate on how video games are created. The Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques values and promotes all video game professionals, would they be on the production or publishing side, in front of the general public, industry observers like the media, institutional partners and investors both from France and abroad. Academicians are French video game industry professionals. They must register for free each year before December 31st to vote in the yearly Pégases Awards ceremony.
