Before Exit: Supermarket is a small, independent title from Take IT Studio! - creators of such games as Electrician Simulator and fig., as well as ports of games for consoles, including Car Mechanic Simulator VR (PSVR2) and Thief Simulator VR (PSVR2).
The last customers leaving the supermarket is the perfect moment for the game's main character, whose goal is to close the store and go home. However, this is not an easy task - the player has to make sure that the standard closing procedure has been followed. Closed doors, lights off, order maintained - these are only seemingly simple tasks.
Players will face their darkest demons - left carts in empty aisles, scattered trash, rotten fruit, dirty toilets, and boxes left after unloading in the middle of the store.
The goal of the game is to complete 7 error-free days, which will result in receiving a promotion from a merciful boss. It seems simple, but any mistake - a product left behind, a light on, or a door open - can get you fired. Will you have enough strength to get through each day?
The game combines such genres as simulator and roguelike. The gameplay is not complicated, while completing the title will be quite a challenge.
Before Exit: Supermarket will debut on Steam on August 8, 2024, with console versions planned for later this year.
