The Paddock is a short, mysterious dinosaur game being made by solo developer Josh Devlin a student from Ulster University in Belfast. The game is now available to Wishlist on Steam. Below is a brief description of the game as well as some helpful links.

Features
CCTV cameras that are used for watching the dinosaur and electrocuting it when it gets too close to the fence.
Night and day levels, survive the night to explore during the day.
A story that unravels as you play through the game.
A short experience that can be finished in 1-2 hours.
Gameplay
Set in a forest park, the player is tasked with keeping a large predatory dinosaur inside of its paddock. If it gets out, the player fails and the game ends.
Over the course of a few days the dinosaur will become more and more aggressive, attacking the fences each night. The player must intervene and stop the dinosaur by using the CCTV cameras to find it and then electrocute the specific fence it is attacking to stop it from escaping.
If the player survives the night, they are free to explore the surrounding area the following day as the dinosaur is nocturnal.
Plans
The game is planned to release later in 2024. The next milestone is taking part in Steam next fest in which I will publish a playable demo of the game.
