The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Enters the PlayStation Plus Extra Catalogue!

CD PROJEKT RED announces that its critically acclaimed open-world RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available to players through PlayStation Plus Extra.

Subscribers to the Extra or Premium tiers of the PlayStation Plus subscription can now play through the entire base game on their PlayStation 4 and 5. Players take on the character of Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer for hire who embarks on a quest through the war-torn Northern Kingdoms in search of his adopted daughter, Ciri. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt features over 150 hours of gameplay, featuring engrossing characters, morally grey choices — and their wide-spanning consequences — and engaging gameplay.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a winner of over 250 Game of the Year Awards, also received a next-gen update in 2022, which PlayStation 5 players can take full advantage of. The next-gen edition contains visual, performance, and technical enhancements including faster loading times, integrated mods, and ray tracing. Apart from next-gen specific improvements, PlayStation 4 and 5 owners can enjoy quality of life improvements and whole new content inspired by The Witcher series on Netflix. PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers around the world can now download the base game and discover the world of The Witcher.
