SHERMAN OAKS, Cali.  – September 19, 2024 – Ten-HUT! Toy Tactics, the RTS where a brush of high command lets you draw your strategy on the battlefield, is ready to witness massive battles in single-player or multiplayer in its 1.0 launch on PC via Steam today. Console recruits on PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One should prepare to roll out this Q4 2024.

Commander! This battlefield might look playful, with minifigures of Roman Imperium legions and their mastery of fire, the cold hearts and their own icy forces of the medieval Pendragon squads, the stealthy movements and precise strikes of the Kyoukai Samurai, the quest for treasure… and victory of the Freebooters Pirate army, and the necromancy-fueled forces of the Draugr horde Undead warriors. But I assure you, when the Undead mounted on their prehistoric friends extinguish you, you won’t be laughing!

Thankfully, Commander, we’ve brought forth the legendary Sun Tzu himself to teach you the Art of War. Emphasis on art, as you command your army with a powerful, mystical paintbrush that lets you draw formations with ease. Use magical spells, relics, the environment as your ally, physics that intensifies battles and wobblers to gain the upper hand in combat.

You’ll have to master those strategic skills, because even with an easy-to-use magical brush, the more than 20 hours of challenging tactical scenarios will test your mettle. The five campaigns – one for each army – present new challenges along with the game modes: Sandbox where you can simulate any battle, solve over 60 puzzles from the Tactics Book, Skirmish, and Mercenaries.

It’s always helpful to have a good ally on your side, Commander, and the new online multiplayer debuting in 1.0 lets you bring a battle buddy or turn them into your enemy, as well as face off against another commander in online battles for tactical supremacy.

Toy Tactics really is going to ambush anyone who thinks it’s easy just because of our aesthetic,” says Antonio Iglesias, Lead Developer at Kraken Empire. “It may use minifigures to depict war, but so does Warhammer — and anyone familiar knows just how bloody things can get over there. We may be more approachable than other titles in the RTS genre, but we want to teach you the tactics to become an expert, and you will be tested.”

Toy Tactics launches its all-out assault today on PC via Steam. PlayStation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One and Series X|S will arrive with reinforcements in Q4 2024. For interview opportunities, media and content creators can contact [email protected].
