Dortmund, Germany, April 28^th 2023: Indie game developer and publisher RainLight is proud to announce the upcoming release of their debut title Tricky Tracks, a superb online multiplayer game in which you play the RUNNER or the SEEKER in a game of cat vs. mouse in richly detailed environments full of obstacles and unexpected surprises. Currently available on Early Access via STEAM™, Tricky Tracks is scheduled for a Q4 2024 release and offers a polished, fun, and exciting gameplay experience to introductory players and fans of the genre.

Tricky Tracks is not your ordinary cat vs. mouse challenge. Leaving behind footprints makes a world of difference as you play; the SEEKER must track them; the RUNNER leaves them behind and both teams must cleverly use them to their advantage. You can play with a cast of different heroes each with their own unique look and individual abilities. Are you more of a nimble and stealthy cucumber, or rather a strong and persistent robot or are you the smartest Detective in Old London?


Each team has unique and fun skills! As a RUNNER it is all about confusing the other team. You can lay fake tracks, rewind back in time to choose a different path and hide in props that are scattered around the map. It is up to you how you turn the footprints you leave behind into your strongest weapon against the SEEKER! On the opposing side, as a SEEKER you must keep a clear mind! Don't let the opposing team fool you. See through the tricks they are playing on you and hunt them down as fast as possible. When playing as a SEEKER, the game offers you special abilities which the other team does not have. With them, you have tactical advantage.

 
Tricky Tracks includes a collection of maps brimming with diversity: you may opt to play in a cartoony looking Kitchen Map, that is frozen in time; or perhaps you prefer to roam in the dark, misty alleys of Old London; maybe you want to try out the vastness of the Industrial Map or dare to explore the undergrounds of a Dwarven Dungeon. Whatever your preference, these and more maps are waiting to be explored and mastered.
