  • The 1.5-hour-long concerts will present music depicting various in-game regions, and the concert in Vienna will even feature music from Genshin Impact's newest region, Natlan

  • Each concert will involve over 100 musicians, a choir, and folk instruments from diverse cultures

  • Both concerts are accessible to a broader audience, with ticket prices starting below €10

  • Ticket revenue will be donated to support musical education, environmental conservation, and other social causes

  • Players attending both concerts are more than welcome to come dressed up in cosplay!

Genshin Impact's original music is produced by HOYO-MiX, the in-house music studio of Genshin Impact's developer. The game is set in the vast fantasy world of Teyvat which consists of seven nations, each with its own dedicated musical theme and multiple soundtrack collections that evoke the history, culture, landscapes, and ongoing adventure in that area. Built on orchestral foundations, the music of Genshin Impact combines elements of music from around the world to depict the variety of the regions and peoples of Teyvat.

What is Impact4Music?
Impact4Music is a project founded by Genshin Impact. Guided by the philosophy of "Music for Everyone," it aims to spread the culture of music and support local talent around the globe.
Impact4Music is now available globally, and any non-profit orchestra may apply to obtain selected original sheet music from this iconic title, as well as other support depending on the orchestra's own needs and creative ideas.
The Impact4Music project first kicked off in Europe in 2023. It offers Genshin Impact soundtrack sheet music free-of-charge, and provides local university orchestras and music enthusiasts with financial support and chances to perform through free college and community concerts in Berlin, Cologne, and St. Gallen. Besides supporting local music scenes, the project also brings high-quality music performances to a wider audience.
As of August 2024, the project has supported 12 university and amateur performances in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the United States.

About Vienna University Philharmonic
The Philharmonic of the University of Vienna consists of over 800 musicians and singers performing in two orchestras and seven choirs, making it one of the largest musical communities worldwide. The repertoire mainly includes classical music, but also features pop, world music, and musicals. The ensemble gives up to 40 concerts annually, both domestically and abroad, reaching approximately 20,000 listeners.

About the Dortmund University Orchestra
The distinctive profile of TU Dortmund—melding nature, culture, and technology—is also reflected in the Dortmund University Orchestra, which operates under the motto: "Music Meets Technology." The orchestra is composed not only of music students but also of members from the faculties of natural and engineering sciences, as well as many other members of our TU community. Established in 1990 by Prof. Werner Abegg, the orchestra has been directed by Julian Pontus Schirmer since the winter semester of 2022.

About the Dortmund University Choir
The Dortmund University Choir is a dedicated amateur choir led by Heinke Kirzinger since 2013. With 100 singers, the choir is open to all those passionate about singing, including friends of TU Dortmund. Diversity is a hallmark of both our choir and our repertoire. We perform a range of choral works from sacred and secular music, spanning from early music to Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, as well as innovative gospel and pop arrangements. In addition to a cappella works, we present a major instrumental-vocal piece annually. For these performances, we collaborate with both TU’s major orchestras and notable external partners from the region.
