Two weeks left to play The Disruptor featuring Conor McGregor for free in HITMAN World of Assassination

Copenhagen, Denmark, July 17th, 2024 – IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind the internationally acclaimed HITMAN franchise shares today an infographic showcasing the insights on how players have been fairing against The Disruptor. The mission featuring Global Superstar Conor McGregor, featuring the likeness and voiceover work from the MMA legend, has seen many players taking their shot at the new target with plenty of ways to complete the assignment. The Elusive Target will be playable for free until the 29^th of July, giving players ample time to prepare their mission and come up with unique creative ways of taking down The Disruptor. 


The Disruptor has proven to be a fan favourite target with more than 150,000 daily active players registered since the launch of the mission, and 47% of players managing to take out the new target. Many players could not resist the mano-a-mano showdown between the Disruptor and Agent 47, with 27% choosing the in-cage duel to complete their task. The quickest runtime saw The Disruptor barely being able to warm up as he was taken out in 15s. On the other hand, other players really challenged his stamina, taking a whole 16 hours to take care of the fighter. Together with The Disruptor Elusive Target, IO Interactive released The Disruptor Pack, a DLC that includes: The Ostentatious which grants permanent access to the Disruptor through the Elusive Target Arcade mode, a set of cosmetics for the Freelancer Safehouse, as well as three items. The Season of the Disruptor is also running, with new content coming to the game in the next weeks, such as Challenges, Curated contracts, and the return of the Dartmoor Garden Show event.
