August 23, 2024 – Kyiv, Ukraine. GTP Media (Indie Cup, Ukrainian Games) is proud to announce the Ukrainian Games Festival 2024 is now officially featured on Steam, showcasing over 450 games participating in the celebration to millions of players around the world.

More than 170 games made in Ukraine are currently discounted, featuring globally recognized series like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (75% off), Metro (up to 90% off), and Sherlock Holmes (up to 91% off). Players can also discover dozens of the best games created by independent developers in Ukraine, including No one lives under the lighthouse (-51%), Ostriv (-20%), and Titan Chaser (-81%).

 

As part of the Ukrainian Games Festival 2024, 9 new games by Ukrainian developers have been announced, including:

 

  • Soul Shuffler (Weasel Token), a card-based roguelite where you play as a demon specializing in souls of inanimate object

  • Comix Zero (Bear Games), a Souls-like open-world platformer-metroidvania set on the pages of a comic book come to life

  • BEYONDER (SoFarSoFun), a horror co-op FPS that mixes roguelike with unspeakable, set in late 1990s

  • Whispers of the Void (ByOwls), an ‘Indiana Jones in space’ story-driven VR adventure

  • Armageddonica (Templar Order), a single-player roguelike ARPG that puts you in control of an entire army from Heaven

  • Boxville 2 (Triomatica Games), a continuation of the adventures of cans living in a box city

  • Angelo & Deemon 2: Too Hell of a Quest (Specialbit Studios), a classical point-and-click adventure about viral fame in Heaven

  • Bloody Cleanup (Grim Look), a co-op horror game where you clean up gore and guts after strange, bloody events 

  • PockeDate! (Ternox), a ‘pocket-sized’ visual novel/dating sim

 

The festival also brings a host of new trailers, including those for Soul Shuffler, Whispers of the Void, Armageddonica, Bloody Cleanup, PocketDate!, and Unmasked: An Inner Journey. An exclusive gameplay overview of highly anticipated co-op shooter SAND is set to be revealed in the coming days.

 

While festival features over 100 free demos, 13 demos are debuting at the event, including a timed demo for narrative RPG set during russia-Ukraine war Hollow Home and the first demo for ‘FTL meets Noita’ space exploration game Jitter.

 

In total, 139 in-development games are participating in the Ukrainian Games Festival 2024. This year’s selection of most anticipated Ukrainian titles includes S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Shadow of Chornobyl, SAND, The Sinking City 2, Tukoni: Forest Keepers, and Jitter. The festival also spotlights promising indie projects from the Indie Cup developer festival, including Hedenite, Zero Losses, and Freedom Tower.

 

The Ukrainian Games Festival event on Steam, organized by GTP Media, is now in its third year, coinciding with Ukraine’s Independence Day on August 24. This event is part of the GTP Media’s Ukrainian Games initiative, which supports developers in Ukraine.
