Toplitz Productions :

Oberhaching, Germany, August 20th, 2024 - Independent development team RealityArts Studio and Publisher Toplitz Productions are thrilled to reveal the new gamescom trailer for their brutal action melee game Unawake ahead of the games first appearance on console to games media in Cologne.

The new title by Turkish based RealityArts Studio, which has already received several international awards and has twice won the Epic Mega Grant, focuses on brute action in a dystopian apocalypse.

The Unreal Engine 5 powered title will bring action-packed, yet tactical skirmish combat thick and fast as players try to survive in an end-time caused by angels and demons. Unawake’s nightmarish world is brought to life by stunning world design visuals set against a narrative of an epic battle against impossible odds, where players decide the fate of humanity and determine the future of an Earth marked by merciless wars between creatures from heaven and hell.

Unawake utilizes Audio2Face technology from NVIDIA to enhance its character animations working in tandem with Epic’s MetaHuman toolset. The technology is made possible with generative AI to create emotional and lifelike facial animations from pre-recorded voiceover samples, adding an incredible realism to npc characters.

The intense action, combining dynamic first-person melee combat, a rich character progression and a deep loot system will let players level up their character as well as customize their loadouts and a vast number of weapons as they face harder, more challenging adversaries set within its dark twisted fantasy universe.

“Toplitz Productions is thrilled to be presenting games media with their latest look at Unawake at gamescom. The visceral action led gameplay, deep progression system combined with the power of Unreal Engine 5 and Nvidia's Audio2Face technology is a true testament to pushing the boundaries of narrative and immersive experiences” said Matthias Wünsche, CEO Toplitz Productions.

Further information on Unawake is available on the official product page on Steam, where the game can already be wishlisted. Gamers are also invited to join the games Discord channel here
