University Graduate Dev Team, Studio 316, Launches Their First Full Game – Tip Top Table Tennis

Tip Top Table Tennis launches on the Nintendo eShop on 24 May, delivering motion-control-powered ping pong fun for the whole family. The title, published by Excalibur Games, is developed by the talented Studio 316. While the university graduate dev team already have plenty of experience under their belt by supporting development of various titles, Tip Top Table Tennis marks the first full game release from the studio.

Studio 316 Co-Founder and CEO Joe Clark had much to say about this first-time experience for him and his team:

“The game we’ve poured so much effort into is now done and ready to be shipped, which is an amazing feeling! We are really proud of the achievement, our first commercial release as a team and first Nintendo Switch game! We massively enjoyed the journey this amazing little game took us on. From start to finish it has been a real experience of problem solving, first times, design problems to solve and so many other encounters that have led to heaps and heaps of learning for the whole team.”

Tip Top Table Tennis is a realistic table tennis experience with a variety of exciting game modes for the whole family! The game features single player and local multiplayer game modes (1 v 1, 2 v 2, return challenge and rally challenge), a variety of unique environments to play in, and the ability to fully customise your table tennis paddle.
