BANDUNG, January 19th, 2022 – Indie developer Dragon Emperors are bringing back their puzzle game, now wrapped in a visual novel, with Lastone: Behind the Choice to Steam on Friday, January 21, 2022.
Lastone: Behind the Choice is a point & click visual novel puzzle game where players fight against other characters in a game. A group of people gathers in an unknown place, not knowing why they are here and where they actually are. The only thing they know about this place is 'to leave this place, one has to win a match against the ruler of the realm'. Discover and progress stories of playable characters from varied backgrounds by winning, and decide their fate after knowing their stories.
“This game has been with us for about nine years now. We would like more people to know about this game, so we’re giving Lastone a story and wrapping it in a visual novel to bring a new experience for new players,” said Black Mage of Dragon Emperors.
Lastone: Behind the Choice’s story has been improved for the Steam release and will still be developed in the future to bring new features. As of now, the game features:
Character Selection
Discover each character's past by playing through their stories and then decide their fate after defeating Lucifer!
Puzzle Battle
To progress through the stories, you'll need to play against others in a puzzle game before finally facing Lucifer in the end.
Free Play
When you first defeat a character, you will be able to fight them again on Free Play mode
