Voxel MMORPG  Trove ’s ‘Rising Tides’ and ‘Gear Up!’ Updates Coming to Consoles

Hamburg, Germany (August 13, 2024) — A major update for console versions of Trove, publisher gamigo’s voxel MMORPG, is now available! Rising Tides brings murky mysteries of the deep, while the gearcrafting of the Gear Up! Date provides new opportunities for powerful loot on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch consoles.

Rising Tides plunges players into a new sunken biome, challenging their grit with just a touch of voxel-themed thalassophobia. Along with a new biome, the update also adds a new Delve level, modified difficulty updates, a new five-star dungeon, new resources, and a new Lovecraftian-inspired enemy faction called The Depths to battle. But never fear, familiar friendly faces have arrived at a new outpost to lend their aid: Saltwater Sam and his crew! Full update notes are available here. 

Discover Gearcrafting in the "Gear Up! Date". Craft from Uncommon to Crystal with Guillermo Armada in the Hub. This update also introduces Crystal 5 gear to boost Trovians to new heights! Utilize Forge Enhancer Potions for better gear and unlock advanced recipes at the Gearcrafter’s Terminus. Don’t forget the Gearcrafter’s Vault for crafting essentials. Select Trove packs are currently on sale for up to 50% off on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, including the Mega Menagerie, Eclipse Pack, Geodian Super Pack, and Dinomighty Miner. The sale ends on August 13 on Xbox One and August 14 on PlayStation 4. 

Trove is an open-world multiplayer sandbox that takes players on a journey through countless realms, tasking them with completing quests and defeating enemies of all shapes and sizes along the way. Roam through colorful, voxel-based realms as a Knight, Gunslinger, Ice Sage, Dracolyte, Pirate-with-a-parrot, or one of many other classes, using unique abilities to destroy environments, one beautiful block at a time.
