For some of us, our game collections are now in the hundreds, if not thousands of games! But how do you track them all? How can you see how many games you've beaten, shelved or even mastered? Well, the first version of user's games libraries has appeared on We The Players, and people are using it with gusto.
We The Players set out to become a location where gamers could help other video gamers, whilst providing them with their own hub to log their gaming lives. This started with the ability to write reviews or rate games but has expanded to creating custom games collections, uploading media and now taking control of their games libraries. In the digital age, it’s hard to keep track of how many games you have, what platform they are on and what you are currently playing. The first release of Game Libraries on the website gives our users the opportunity to log every game they have and its current status, displaying it in a visually pleasing design. Future iterations will allow you to import your collections from every main digital provider, create custom ‘buckets’ to enter your own statuses and much more.
The feature has already seen over 30,000 games logged against people's profiles, and this number continues to trend upwards.
"We liked this feature but didn't expect it to be used quite as much and as fast as it has been. We're going to continue to expand the things you can do with your library, including importing games automatically from all your game clients and accounts."
Paul Buttle, CEO @ We The Players
Game Libraries are available now for all users over at We The Players.
