GarageGames has released version 1.5 of its iTorque 2D engine, which expands compatibility and adds new features, behaviors, demos, and documentation. “What made this release special was the dedication to incorporating feedback and feature requests directly from the community,” says GarageGames lead developer Michael Perry. This update includes roughly 30 new AI behaviors, which come with an expanded documentation library to offer support to developer. The engine now also includes a new "Feature Demo," which provides examples on how to implement various functions, such as motion control, multi-touch, among others. In addition, GarageGames says iTouque now offers full support for OS X leopard, OS X Lion, and Xcode 4, and is compatible with the iOS 5 devkit. GarageGames has detailed the expanded list of new features for iTorque 2D on its official website.
