Newsbrief: The five-year-old Mixamo online storefront of 3D animations/character models is getting an overhaul in advance of next week's Game Developers Conference.

Game developers who rely on Mixamo for their production work will find that the new "Mixamo 2.0" rolling out in March is dominated by usability changes, including a new WebGL viewer allows developers to view models online without a browser plugin, improved search capabilities and a bulk downloader.

Developers can also expect to see the Mixamo storefront bolstered with 20 new animation packs when Mixamo 2.0 goes live sometime next month.

If you'd like to be notified when that happens, you can sign up for a free account over on the Mixamo website.
