Animation Software Engineer, RealTime Immersive, Inc

Location: Orlando, FL RealTime Immersive is a leader in the simulation and training industry and the exclusive provider of Virtual Attain CryENGINE. Our team consists of highly motivated industry professionals who are not only experts in CryENGINE, but are also long-time veterans of the training and entertainment industries who have a clear understanding of how to integrate the next generation of game technology into simulations and serious games. Responsibilities

  • Adopt existing development processes and look for improvements

  • Work with existing engine code base to develop and enhance game play

  • Develop well designed software within project schedule to team standards

  • Document source code

  • Write documentation and tutorials

  • Create immersive and compelling gameplay and training experiences

  • Optimize and debug performance

  • Specify and contribute to testing procedures

  • Show a strong passion for making the highest quality state of the art products

  • Continue to enhance programming and communications skills

  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard

  • Work as a role model in terms of communication, quality and team spirit, inspire junior members

  • Maintenance of existing CryENGINE animation tools (AnimationGraph, Facial Editor, Inverse Kinematics, LiveMocap)

  • Maintenance and extension of low level animation system

  • Integration of high level animation logic according to project needs

  • Motion Capture (organization and direction of shoot, animation cleanup, and export)

  • Implement support for new motion capture and tracking hardware (HMD, gloves, Kinect, etc.)

  • Integration and debugging of new animation assets
