Latest Unity update adds controller support for iOS 7

One of the most popular engines for making video games is now aligned with Apple's initiative to standardize physical game controllers for devices including iPad and iPhone.

Newsbrief: Unity's 4.2.2 update, released today, adds the ability for developers to implement game controller support for Apple iOS devices. That means that one of the most popular engines for making video games is now aligned with Apple's initiative to standardize physical game controllers for devices including iPad and iPhone. In June this year, Apple revealed its iOS 7, released in September, would include a third-party controller API, to give developers the option to utilize traditional, physical gamepads as opposed to touch screen controls.
